The villa is a luxurious four/five bedroom villa with separate lounge, dining room and spacious western kitchen. Once you have walked through the grand carved wooden doors and closed them behind you, you begin your holiday of a lifetime in your own haven. It is designed in a Balinese/Thai style with contemporary modern interior design and fixtures to combine the function of a modern home with an easy flow between indoor and outdoor, enabling open living. Japan is made up of more than 1000 islands but the four main islands are Kyushu, Shikoku, Honshu, and Hokkaido, the northernmost island. Over 80% of Japan is covered with mountains and it is possible to ski resorts as far south as Kyushu! In its heyday there were more than 700 resorts but that number is quickly dropping year after year as the Japanese recession continues (most of them were one lift ponies anyway).Although Hokkaido is surrounded by water and the base of many of the resorts are only a few hundred meters above sea level, it produces some of the lightest and driest snow found anywhere on the planet. It's a much better place to start your day and avoid the crowds that Hirafu is becoming notorious for. Rumors are that the Mizu-no-sawa area located directly under the Niseko Gondola will officially open up for the 08/09 season!! This ungroomed powder bowl has some of the very best fall lines n Niseko (but I wouldn’t know).Mellow powder and long wide runs make Rusutsu a definite must if you visit the Niseko area for a few days. It's a huge, well run area consisting of several gondolas and covered quads which access endless tree runs and natural kickers. This is one resort where a guided tour is highly recommended as it one can quite easily get lost and/or stuck in the deep powder.This isn't a resort, it's a mountain, and as such it needs to be respected. The area consists of one bad-ass 101 passenger tram and a relatively flat double chair. Basically there are two beginner runs and a mother load of b/c options. There are no ski patrol to either help you or yell at you, so you need to be prepared. Again, this is a resort that is best done with a mountain guide, and a good set of lungs because for the ultimate run, there's an hour and a half hike involved to the peak. This area is also famous for hot springs and ice climbing. We just opened up our newest and gnarliest lodge, the Black Mountain Lodge.

Tulamben became famous through the wreck of U.S.S.Liberty, a cargo ship from the Second World War, that lies about 30 meters from the rocky beach in 5m-30m depth. There is almost no flow and the visibility is usually 20 m-30 m. Very impressive is also a night dive at the wreck. Approx. 500 meters next to the wreck you can dive in 'Coral Garden' or 'drop off'. Mainly for macro friends the Coral Garden offers a lot of highlights. There are Ghostmurane, cleaner shrimp, groupers, Harlekinschrimps etc. The drop off is a nice covered wall from 3 to 60 m deep.

From the terrace of our holiday villa you have wonderful views of the Balinese Sea and next to the villa is access to a small sandy/pebbly beach. Its name Time Out indicates the idea of what you'll find after your arrival: lots of holiday pleasure and rest!The villa is equipped for ten people and besides there is separate guest-home for 2 persons. The interior of our holiday villa : In January 2001 we visited Bali for the first time and spent some time finding a fine location to have our holiday villa built. Only when we came across the present project, we found our Balinese paradise. Living-room :A spacious living- & dining-room with a dinner-table for 10 people plus high chair. Comfortable chairs, TV, dvd-player with lots of dvd's and a playstation with a large number of games are also at your disposal.Next to the living area is an open-plan kitchen with a scullery, a very large frigde and a washing-machine and cupboards. Moreover ther's an installation for hot & cold water to which 5 gallon bottles, which you can buy, can be connected. There's also an oven/microwave combination. The bedrooms : From the living area you enter a corridor and you'll see the master-bedroom of approx. 5 x 5 metres. Inside you'll notice a great four-poster bed (2.10 m. long x 2.00 m. wide) and 2 foldings beds. Also in this room are a 4-door wardrobe and a dressing-table with mirror and 2 chairs. There's an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet.Adjacent to this bedroom is an en-suite bathroom with washing-basin and toilet.All bedrooms are fitted with air-conditioning.Beach-towels, towels, washing-gloves, dish towels etc. as well as bed linen are available in double quantities, so there’s no need for you to bring them along. The exterior of our holiday villa : First of all there is a large private swimming-pool (9x5 metres). Depth is 1.40 metres for the first three metres, gradually sloping to 2.20 metres. At the deep end is a diving board.The large sheltered terrace with a round (dining-) table and six chairs plus a lounge set on the other side of the terrace, makes this a very cosy spot commanding wonderful views of the Balinese Sea and, of course, our beautiful and well-kept garden.Also near the swimming-pool is an open-air shower which we hope you will use before entering the swimming-pool, thus ensuring optimal hygiene for all. The Garden : The little Bale Bengong actually is a large bed with soft pillows and cushions, making it an ideal spot for reading or lazing with great sea views and always a nice cooling breeze.The large Bale Bengong contains a round table with settees for some ten people so that you can have a barbeque, play family games or relax in a cosy fashion. Our garden is fully equipped with all kinds of trees, plants and flowers (some 800 in all) and as a result, butterflies and birds often visit it.
