Recently renovated to a high standard, this Chateau offers everything you could want for - it is French living at its best. Located just a short walk from the village of Le Temple sur Lot with its bar, epicerie, boulangerie and well known restaurant The Commanderie , yet the situation is tranquil and private, set in 11 acres of landscaped gardens. The accommodation is plentiful but not rambling and ideal for families. There is a large well equipped Kitchen with a lovely French pantry set into one of the towers, a large Sitting Room, a Family Room and a separate Study. The impressive Dining Hall seats 12 comfortably. All six bedrooms have ensuites and are located on the first floor, all off the same large Hallway. There are three double Bedrooms (king-size beds) and three Twin Bedrooms. For outdoor living, the saltwater pool is heated and the old Sechoir offers a dining terrace and summer kitchen which are both out of this world. The Chateau has an ideal layout for families and Group Bookings. There is plenty of living space downstairs with a large more formal sitting room as well as a comfy family room. There is also a separate study for those who may need to work whilst here. In addition there is a large kitchen with plenty of seating. The grand Hallway links all these rooms together and also offers a spacious dining area. All six bedrooms are large and spacious and have their own en-suites. Again ideally set out, each bedroom is set off the main Hallway on the first floor. Each room has plenty of space for a cot if required. The Lavender Bedroom has a king size bed and the ensuite shower-room is set into the tower. The Sunflower Bedroom has twin beds with a separate ensuite shower-room and wc.The Magnolia Bedroom has a king-size bed and the ensuite shower-room is set into the tower. There is also a small Tourist Office in the village where you will find details of all the activities and events that will be on close by during your stay. The River Lot has beaches, canoeing, sailing and other activities. The beach at Castelmoron in only 5 minutes away and an ideal place to visit with children.

Chez Hubbert 4 bedroom home to rent, vinsobres, provence, franceVinsobres is a small perched village, located on the border of Drome and Vaucluse, in Provence, with the mountains on the doorstep. It is a beautiful part of Southern France, with a wide variety of things to do and see. Views take in rich lavender fields, grapevines, & the soft grey of the olive groves. Nyons is only 7 kilometres away at the foot of the alps, and there is a very lively market held every Thursday throughout the year, as well as many cafes and restaurants.Chez Hubbert is on 3 floors. The ground floor has the kitchen lounge and terrace; the top has 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom, and the lower floor has 2 more bedrooms and another bathroom, as well as beautiful garden with a fantastic view out over the vines.There are too many wineries to count in the area, as well as other places to sample the delicacies such as the famous Nyons' olives and oils, lavender, apricots, honey and nougat. You won't run out of places to visit or things to see and do. Vaison la Romaine is only 15 minutes away with Roman ruins and a fantastic market market every Tuesday. Grignon with it's superb castle is only 20 minutes away also, in the opposite direction. North from Nyons are the scenic gorges and then the beginning of the stunning French alps with great skiing in winter, hiking in summer and breathtaking scenery. Marseilles and the Cote d' Azur is about and hour and a half drive south and Avignon is also only 45 minutes south.lower floorThe lower floor is accessed by an ancient stone staircase leading down into the peaceful garden. From there you enter the two downstairs bedrooms, bathroom, shower and separate toilet. The view from the garden is quite specatular, looking out over the vineyards and olives. There is another table with seating for four, as well as two lounge chairs to relax in.middle floorThe middle floor is on street level but at the back of the house it opens out onto a lovely terrace with magnificent views. From the front door entrance you come into the foyer then through to the gourmet kitchen. A door off the kitchen leads through into the loungeroom. Both the kitchen and lounge have doors which open out onto the terrace. There is a large outdoor table and chairs on the terrace for enjoying outside meals under the shade of the pergola. There is also a BBQ at the end of the terrace..upper floorThe upper floor is accessed by a stone staircase from just inside the front door. Halfway up on the left is the main bathroom with toilet. Then there is the second bedroom with twin beds which can be joined together to make another kingsize bed. Further on down the hall, there is the main bedroom with kingsize bed and french antique furniture. The views from this room and the hall window are specactular, looking out over the vineyards.
